New MC announced for 2022!

The Chamber of Minerals of Energy of WA (CME) is delighted to confirm that well-known Perth media personality Nat Locke will be the host of the 2022 Women In Resources Awards.

WIRA is the flagship event on the mining and resources sector’s calendar – recognising outstanding women and champions of diversity and inclusion – and we’re excited that Nat will bring her polished presenting skills, vibrant personality and keen sense of humour to the event.

Nat’s voice will be familiar to many West Australians thanks to her partnership with Shaun McManus and Nathan Morris on NOVA 93.7’s top-rating breakfast show.

Nat grew up in Esperance, attended high school in Perth and originally qualified as a chiropractor before trying her hand (or voice!) on radio – and is now also an in-demand host for events around Perth and a regular columnist for Seven West Media.

We can’t wait to have her host our night of nights!

Looking Back

Take a look back at WIRA 2021, where we celebrated some truly remarkable women working in the mining and resources sector. See all the photos from the after-party plus what our winners had to say.
