Yes.
Finalists will have their headshot displayed on our website, social media accounts and in the printed programme.
We prepare some of this material in advance of finalists being announced so it is important that you provide
a high-quality photo with your nomination.
The date for the finalists announcement can be found on the Key Dates page under the ‘About’ tab.
All nominees and their nominators will be notified a few days before the public announcement.
The awards are judged in two stages – a preliminary judging round and a final judging round.
The preliminary judges consist of members of our Diversity & Inclusion Reference group as well as previous
WIRA winners and finalists. There are approximately 6 preliminary judges per category
who score the entries according to a weighted criteria point system. They then meet to discuss the
results and select 3 finalists for their category.
Once the 18 finalists have been selected, a second group of judges consisting of the senior industry
representatives follow the same process to determine to the winners for each category.
